Current standings at the Running Team Challenge

Running is among the most popular workouts on dacadoo. Running improves physical and mental state of an individual and is also very effective in reducing stress and blood pressure as it helps maintain the elasticity of arteries. On average, most active runners have lower blood pressure compared to people who don’t run. Running also increases lung capacity, strengthens lungs and heart muscle and keeps you in great shape. It is also an effective measure in prevention of cardiovascular disease. In the past months, we have published a series of blog articles on running, such as:


Status after the first 2 weeks of the Running Team Challenge
The goal of this public team running challenge that started on April 1st, 2015 and lasts for 30 days, is to track the highest possible average team distance. The team challenge is organized in 10 teams that are named after popular sports shoes brands.

In the current ranking we have the Salomon team with an average distance of 66.6km on the first rank. Well done :)

Not so far behind on the second rank we have the Under Armour team with a average distance of 56.2km.

The adidas team is on the 3rd rank with 35.8km average tracked running distance so far.

Thenafter, the largest team of the challenge – the Asics team with 17 team members – follows with an average tracked distance of 28.1km. This is always more of a challenge within large teams, so great job there!

The two next weeks will show which team can push further and challenge the current rankings. Good luck everybody.
