dacadoo release 1.6!

We’re very pleased to share with you highlights from the latest dacadoo Health Platform release.
We have focused on improving an also adding new requested features to dacadoo. In a nutshell the new features are “Recent Activities” within the “Add Workout”, enabling the importing of GPS workouts, new “My Account” with all of the account & profile settings, a new account activation process, and from today on you can create goals on achievements, workouts, and your weight!
Workout
You now can now manually record your workout sessions directly on the home screen by clicking the “Add Workout” button. This functionality is still also available in the Journal tab.
We have also added a Recent Activities list when you add a new workout, meaning you can quickly access your regular workouts.
When adding a new GPS-guided workout, you can choose between importing a workout that you might have recorded with another fitness tracking device, or manually entering your activity.
My Account
Another highlight of this release is the completely new structure of the My Account settings section. You can find My Account in the header of the dacadoo Health Platform. It contains the following sections: general account settings, profile settings, privacy & security settings, connections, notifications and subscription management.
We have simplified the account activation process when you register at dacadoo. New users have to confirm their email-address in order to activate their account. Activation is possible by clicking a link in the email they receive or by entering a specific code contained in this email.
Goals
We’re introducing Goals as a new feature and in this first version you are now able in the Journal section to set goals for workouts and for weight, as well as to turn some achievements into goals in the achievements tab. The progress towards your goals can be tracked in your profile in the new sub-menu goals and you can even invite some friends to share a goal with you. You can create goals on achievements, workouts, and your weight.
Registration process
Finally, when registering as a new member on the dacadoo Health Platform, we now explain why we ask for age, gender, height and weight. It allows us to calculate an initial dacadoo Health Score, meaning that the new member can get started immediately.
We hope you enjoy this latest release from dacadoo!
